2022 INFINITI QX80 SNEAK PEEK TECH FEATURES

It looks like the 2022 model year will be promising when it comes to the latest version of the INFINITI QX80. INFINITI has decided to update some of its technology features for this coming model year while leaving the exterior of the QX80 relatively the same.

The most significant update that you’ll notice with the QX80 is the new infotainment system. The screen size will be an impressive 12.3-inches, and this will be the standard screen size for all QX80 trim levels. The old infotainment setup had two screens, which caused quite a bit of confusion. The entire system will be controlled by touch, but you still have the option to use the control knob if you prefer.

The center console inside the INFINITI QX80 has been updated a little bit from the perspective of technology. There is a wireless smartphone charging pad that’s available that eliminates the use of a lightning cable. The climate control setup has also been changed to reflect an easier-to-use design.

To make your driving experience easier and safer, the QX80 now comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features. INFINITI allows you to use Apple CarPlay wirelessly. You also get navigation standard in your QX80, as well as the InTouch connectivity feature. This provides you with keyless entry, added security features, Wi-Fi and much more.

Under the hood of the INFINITI QX80, you’ll still be able to enjoy optimal performance from the 5.6-liter V8 engine that can easily achieve 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. INFINITI is still providing a standard seven-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
