This Halloween, the animals aren’t the only “creatures” you’ll find at the Phoenix Zoo! For two whole nights, the zoo will be hosting its annual ‘Howl-O-Ween’ celebration, an all-ages event that has plenty of tricks and treats for everyone to enjoy.

The ‘Howl-O-Ween’ attractions are separated into two categories: merry and scary. If you have little ones that aren’t quite ready for scares, the merry activities are the way to go. This list includes the Wonderland Arcade, Mad Science Laboratory, Extinct Animal Graveyard exhibit, Pirates of the “Scare”ibbean sword fight, “Boo Ball” dance party, and meet & greets with beloved fantasy characters.

For the eight and over crowd, there’s lots of hair-raising fun to be had in the scary section. Zoo-goers will have the opportunity to brave everything from the House of Voodoo, Area 51 and Camp Nightmare to The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Walking Dead Way. You can also play a game of Zombie Laser Tag, if you dare!

General admission tickets are $12.95 per person, and kids 2 and under get in free. Be sure to bring extra pocket money along, as the zoo will be serving up a scary good selection of snacks.
