INFINITI Q50

How Often Should I Service My INFINITI Q50?

Your INFINITI Q50 periodically needs maintenance to stay in top working order. Although all Q50s require upkeep maintenance, the INFINITI Q50 maintenance schedule is not the same for all vehicles. Most INFINITI Q50 service intervals start around 15,000 miles, but the services that an INFINITI requires can change based on the car's year, trim level, and other factors. When your car requires service, you'll want to bring it in to inspect a certified INFINITI technician. According to all the recommended mileage-based intervals, servicing your car can avoid many safety and mechanical issues down the road.

15,000-Mile Service

The first service that your INFINITI will need is a change of its engine oil and potentially a new engine filter. Your INFINITI may also need to have the intelligent key battery changed. The Q50 will have its tires rotated at 15,000 miles, and they will be checked for their general condition, pressure levels, and tread depth. The coolant fluid also gets inspected, and it will be changed if necessary. A mechanic will also add lubrication to the hood and doors.

30,000-Mile Service

When your Q50 hits 30,000 miles, it will have more services performed. The engine oil is changed again, and the car may get a new engine filter. The tires are rotated again at 30,000 miles, and the coolant fluid is checked again. A mechanic will perform a multi-point inspection of the vehicle. The windshield wipers will be inspected for proper operation, and the car's lights will be inspected as well. The battery will be checked, along with the cables and hoses.

60,000-Mile Service

At 60,000 miles, your INFINITI's service begins with another oil change. The engine may also get a new filter. The tires will be rotated and balanced as necessary. The drive belt tension gets adjusted, and the brakes are checked for excessive wear on both the front and back ends. Your INFINITI may be due for a new battery as well at 60,000 miles. The steering system components and suspension system are also inspected, and your car will have a visual overview of the lighting elements and wipers.

90,000-Mile Service

Another list of services is required for your car at 90,000 miles. At this point, the hinges will all be lubricated, along with the steering stops. The alternator is checked, and the drive belt's tension may need to be adjusted. The wiper blades and related parts are inspected at 90,000 miles, and your car will have its transmission fluid flushed and replaced.
