WELCOME IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON AT GLENDALE GLITTERS

There’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than to participate in one of the most beloved holiday traditions in the West Valley: Glendale Glitters. Illuminated by over 1.5 million lights, Historic Downtown Glendale transforms into a magical winter wonderland fit for an elf.

The Glendale Glitters kickoff weekend is the perfect way to spend Thanksgiving weekend. On Nov. 25-26, 2016, from 5-10 p.m. each night, downtown is bustling with merry activities like horse-drawn carriage rides, festive music, holiday shopping and a winter wonderland for the kids to enjoy. Even Santa Claus makes an appearance, so be sure to have your wish list ready.

Though the holiday light display remains aglow nightly, there are several other events that take place over the course of the festival.

• Glendale’s Jingle Bell Rockin’ Nights (Dec. 2-3): Get your fill of holiday tunes during Rockin’ Nights! Local and national bands unite to bring old favorites and new beats to downtown.

• Glendale’s Winter Wonderland Weekend (Dec. 9-10): There’s always new attractions popping up on this highly-anticipated weekend, so we don’t have the complete details just yet. However, you can expect to experience snow and other icy treats.

• Glendale’s Spirit of Giving Weekend (Dec. 16-17): This weekend is dedicated to raising donations for local charities. Participate in a raffle and enjoy other holly, jolly activities and entertainment.

Glendale Glitters is located in Downtown Glendale at 58th and Glendale Ave. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily until its curtain call on Jan. 7, 2017. For more information, visit the event page here.
