UPDATING THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM IN YOUR INFINITI

As a rule, navigation systems like the one in your INFINITI vehicle need to be updated with new maps every five years or so. This new information contains data about newly constructed roads, new points of interest, and anything else that can be used to give you turn-by-turn directions when you drive someplace new.

If you’ve just purchased a new INFINITI vehicle, you don’t need to worry about installing any new updates for your navigation system. If it’s been at least five years, you probably need to order a DVD containing the most recent map data available. You can order this DVD at navigation.com and clicking on the INFINITI logo on the home page. From there, click on the “Menu” tab on the top of the page and select your INFINITI vehicle. From there, you’ll be taken to an order page where you can add the latest update DVD to your cart. Click on “Add to Cart” and enter your payment information to complete your order. Your new DVD will be shipped directly to you. When it arrives, insert it into the DVD drive on your vehicle’s dashboard and start your car. Your navigation system will update on its own.
