THEATER WORKS PRESENTS: ‘SEUSSICAL’

From Horton the Elephant and Gertrude McFuzz to the Cat in the Hat, your favorite Dr. Seuss characters will be stopping by the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts from July 14 to 30! Don’t miss your chance to see the colorful imagination of this beloved children’s author come to life on the stage during this local rendition of “Seussical.”

“Seussical” brings together characters from “Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories,” “Horton Hears a Who,” “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think” and other books, creating a familiar yet fresh story that audiences are sure to love. Watch as Horton discovers the tiny speck of dust that contains the world of the Whos and is challenged to protect it all costs, while Jojo, a precocious Who child, is faced with his difficulties. Of course, the story is narrated by the mischievous Cat in the Hat.
