SIX EASY WAYS TO KEEP YOUR INTERIOR CLEAN

There’s no better feeling than a freshly detailed car! However, you may be wishing that you could enjoy that sensation longer. In order to help you keep your car’s interior clean in between service appointments, we’ve compiled these simple tips.

Avoid eating behind the wheel-
No matter how careful you are when eating inside your car, you’re still likely to leave behind crumbs. Keeping your behind-the-wheel meals to a minimum is also a safer choice, as eating can be quite distracting.

Stomp your feet before getting in the car-
This is one of the easiest ways to decrease the amount of dirt build-up in your cabin. By taking a few seconds to tap your shoes off, you can cut down on the dirt entering your cabin by 60 to 70 percent.

Set a cleaning routine-
While its not feasible to completely eliminate dust and dirt from your vehicle, keeping it to a minimum is ideal. We recommend setting a time each week to wipe down the surfaces and vacuum the seats and carpet.

Cut down on clutter-
In between your busy schedule and the kids’, your car can go from clean to cluttered in the blink of an eye. A great rule for both you and your family to follow is “bring something, take something.” By removing unneeded items from your car, you can keep the mess from getting out of control.

Create a clean-up kit-
Whether you spill your morning coffee or one of the kids drops their sippy cup, having an emergency clean-up kit will ensure you’re prepared for any mess. Some good items to keep in the kit are paper towels, carpet cleaner, an upholstery or leather seat cleaner, gloves, hand sanitizer and a few plastic bags.

Purchase rubber floor mats-
All-weather rubber floor mats are a smart investment, especially during monsoon season! Not only will they save you time and hassle when cleaning, but they also offer great protection to the carpet of your vehicle.
