MEET CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG & OTHER CHARACTERS AT THE PBS KIDS FESTIVAL

In celebration of the PBS KIDS channel launch, Arizona PBS is throwing a big bash at their downtown Phoenix studio for kids of all ages. This free festival is open to all, so don’t miss out on the oodles of fun happening on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017.

The PBS Kids Festival takes place on MLK Jr. Day, giving kiddos the opportunity to spend their day out of the classroom enjoying exciting yet educational activities with their families. From arts and crafts to story time to movie-theatre-style screenings of PBS KIDS shows, there’s no shortage of fun to be had at the PBS Kids Festival. Community organizations like the Maricopa County Library District will also be onsite, offering educational information and resources to parents.

Also partaking in these activities are several beloved PBS KIDS characters. Clifford the Big Red Dog, the Cat in the Hat, Curious George, Daniel Tiger and other familiar faces will be making appearances at the festival to meet and greet with the little ones. Be sure to bring a camera or clear space on your smartphone-you’ll definitely want to capture these memories!

Additionally, families will get to tour the huge broadcasting facility and play with the latest technology, including a green screen. It’s a rare opportunity, so be sure to RSVP to the PBS Kids festival as soon as possible!
