INFINITI OF PEORIA | CORKS & CACTUS RETURNS TO DESERT BOTANICAL GARDEN ON FEB. 18

Enjoy the cool February weather and beautiful desert flora paired with a myriad of delicious boutique wines at the DBG’s annual Corks & Cactus event. Whether you are a self-proclaimed oenophile or you are just looking for a rich new vino to serve at your upcoming dinner party, you’re sure to have a great time at this unique local event.

Corks & Cactus takes place from 1-5 p.m. on Feb. 18-19, showcasing 40 different wines from various wineries each day. Both national and international wineries will be represented at the event, giving attendees the opportunity to sample a variety of Chardonnays, Cabernets and more from across the globe. All 80 wines will also be available to purchase at the Wine Retail Store located in the garden, most priced at $35 or less.

In between sampling the wines, attendees can also stop and enjoy live entertainment as well as various cooking demonstrations. There will also be small plates and sandwiches available for purchase, courtesy of Fabulous Food Fine Catering.

Ticket prices for Corks & Cactus start at $40 for general admission, and proceeds from all wine purchased will go towards benefiting the garden’s research and conservation programs.
