Vacuum Each Seat

Vacuuming all the seats will remove small particles that have accumulated and are hidden in the deep crevices of your car. This can lead to scuffs and scratches over time.

Move the vacuum slowly and make use of the included attachments to clean hard-to-reach areas. An air compressor is also effective for blowing out dirt that you can’t physically reach.

Wipe Everything Down

Use a microfiber towel to wipe down the seats before applying leather cleaner. Avoid spraying the seat but put the solution on your towel and wipe everything down. This will deep clean the material and restore their conditioner.

Purchase a Brush

A brush is also an excellent tool for deep cleaning and is gentle enough to use on leather materials. Scrub the seats without applying too much pressure. Always spray the cleaning solution on the brush to prevent it from getting trapped in the holes of the leather upholstery.

Thoroughly Dry the Leather Seats

Use a microfiber cloth to wipe down the seats to prevent moisture from sitting on the materials, and repeat this process every three months. Leather seats that are white or tan can be cleaned more frequently because they’re known to show a lot more dirt.

Condition the Leather

Leather is prone to becoming dry over time because it loses some of the natural oil it contains. Leather conditioner will restore the oil and slow down the aging process when you do it two to three times each year. Apply a thin layer of conditioner to prevent the leather upholstery from getting too greasy. Use a quality product that has better ingredients to achieve the results professional results.

You can also spot test a small area of the seats to ensure the leather conditioner works well and doesn’t cause any damage before applying it to the rest of the seats.
