DON’T MISS THE ANNUAL FREE EASTER EGG HUNT AT THE PEORIA SPORTS COMPLEX
Kick off your family’s holiday weekend with a beloved local spring tradition! The annual Dolly Sanchez Memorial Easter Egg Hunt is the perfect place to make lifelong memories your little ones, offering a plethora of bright and colorful activities for all ages to enjoy.
Now in its 41st year, this egg-cellent extravaganza brings together Peoria families, getting them in the holiday spirit by transforming the Peoria Sports Complex into a giant spring wonderland. All it takes to get in is a canned food donation to the St. Mary’s/Westside Food Bank Alliance, which in turn benefits the community even more!
From 8 a.m.-12 p.m., you and your family can enjoy carnival-style games, inflatables, crafts, face-painting, pony rides and a petting zoo, just to name a few. Plus, Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be hopping around, so be sure to have your camera ready to capture those special moments.
Now for the best part: the candy Easter egg hunts! The hunts are divided into eight different age groups, ranging from one-year-olds to nine- and ten-year-olds. There’s also an egg hunt for attendees with disabilities to safely enjoy. Check out the schedule below to see which egg hunt your child can participate in.
