The INFINITI Concept Vision Gran Turismo has finally made it world debut at the Copper Box in Olympic Park in London. It was a part of the launch for the new game, Gran Turismo Sport, which will feature the Vision Gran Turismo as one of the choices gamers can drive. It was one of 8 other full-size concept vehicles to be shown off at the event, showcasing a commitment to finding new and innovative ways to design high-performance cars.

According to an INFINITI press release, “The INFINITI Concept Vision Gran Turismo is a project that started as an ambitious global INFINITI Design competition to ‘design a pure INFINITI GT car.’ The winning model was born from the theme put forward by INFINITI’s Design team in Beijing. Part beauty, part beast, its shape is powerful, sensual and audacious – a mix of a track machine and the dream of our Chinese design team to create an ambitious racing language for INFINITI.”

Another part of the project was to discover new ways to incorporate both aerodynamics and engine performance into INFINITI’s line of cars. Engineers studied the Vision Gran Turismo to see how it can use its various aerodynamic designs on future offerings from the automaker.
