2016 QX60 EARNS TOP SAFETY PICK+ AWARD

Exciting new from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety: the newly refreshed 2016 QX60 has now earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating.

Not only did the premium crossover an overall “Good” rating from the IIHS, it also earned a “Superior” rating for its front crash prevention system. The new QX60 is one of the most highly anticipated new refreshes coming out this year, thanks in large part to its extensive list of newly available safety features.

“INFINITI is obviously pleased to receive the exclusive IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award, which reflects the organization’s strictest testing standards, for the 2016 QX60,” said Randy Parker, vice president, INFINITI Americas. “The enhancements to the QX60 for the new model year, especially in the expansion of its advanced technology features, once again raise the standard in the premium crossover segment.”

These new pieces of advanced safety technology include Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, an Around View Monitor and Backup Collison Intervention. All of these new systems should go a long way in maintaining INFINITI’s reputation as a terrific safety luxury family car.
