2016 Q50 GETS NEW POWERTRAIN FOR THE NEW YEAR

The 2016 Infiniti Q50 is getting an all-new powertrain for its latest model year, giving the sports sedan a terrific performance upgrade that drivers around Phoenix are sure to love.

As Infiniti’s top-selling North American model, the Q50 offers a host of fantastic features that sedan shoppers have consistently chosen. This model year, the sedan will have up to four advanced powertrains, including three brand-new turbocharged engines. The first new engine is a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo direct-injection gas that can produce between 300 and 400 horsepower. The second new powertrain is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that generated 208 horsepower, while a hybrid powertrain rounds out the list, combining a 3.5-liter V6 with a compact laminated lithium-ion battery.

“The new Infiniti Q50 takes the core elements that have driven its global appeal to date, and now we have made it even better by offering a number of new and stand-out technologies. With the upgraded Q50, we are furthering Infiniti’s position on innovation,” said Francois Bancon, Infiniti Vice President Product Strategy.

Other new technologies include Infiniti’s Direct Adaptive Steering system that offers a more customizable steering feel that increases the car’s agility. The 2016 Q50 also gets a Dynamic Digital Suspension for the first time. This new suspension provides optimal road performance, while also offering a luxury-level of comfort.
