2023 INFINITI QX80 Luxe Trim vs 2023 INFINITY QX80 Premium Select Trim

The 2023 INFINITI QX80 SUV is much like the 2022 model and is available for purchase in three different trim options. The base model is called the INFINITI QX80 LUXE model. There is the Premium Select trim and the Sensory model. Today we will be comparing the LUXE and the Premium Select trim levels.

The INFINITI QX80 LUXE(short for Luxury) is a very strong vehicle powered by a 5.6 liter v-8 engine. It also has a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The INFINITI QX80 PREMIUM SELECT model is every bit as impressive and powerful as the LUXE, as they are both vehicles powered by the same powertrain. It can tow a load behind that weighs up to 8500 pounds.

The main differences between these vehicles will be on the exterior of the cars, as the LUX and the Premium Select share many of the same benefits and features, save a few main differences.

Performance

The INFINITI QX80 LUXE, along with its seven-speed automatic transmission, boasts an impressive 400 horsepower. To control all that power and make the ride a nice and smooth one, the LUXE has adaptive shift control. However, if you're ever in a hurry or just stuck behind a slowpoke, the LUXE has a manual shift mode that has downshift rev-matching, which will have the slowpoke looking at your taillights.

The INFINITI QX80 Select Premium, having the same exact powertrain as the LUXE, performs exactly as superbly as the LUXE.

Appearance

It is not just the engines that are the same, but the appearance of these vehicles looks the same as well, or does it just seem that way? In fact, there are a number of features that the Premium Select(PS) trim has that the LUXE does not. For example, the PS has a nice set of 22-inch black chrome wheels, and the front grille surround has received the same paint job, as well as the fender vents and the liftgate finisher are all black chrome.

Features

LUXE has leather seating, a 10-way power driver's seat, and heated front seats. Forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, Smart Cruise Control, Blind spot intervention with lane departure prevention, along with wireless apple CarPlay compatible with all apple devices. All these features are also shared with the Premium Select model trim.
